Marisa Carnesky & Rasp Thorne

The Quickening Of The Wax

From anatomical effigies to dubious idols, from heretical worship to supernal sacrifice, you are invited to view the newly excavated waxworks from the Dystopian Wonders Collection. Bear witness to the processes and rituals of the wax workshop. Touch the pumping heart and form the unflinching mould.

With an original soundtrack from New York underground composer and performer Rasp Thorne, wax works from sculptor Anthony Bennett (whose previous collaborations include work with Turner Prize nominee Yinka Shonibare), live artist and choreographer H Plewis and lighting designer Marty Langthorne.
